摘要
本文通过构建FDI前向关联影响东道国技术创新的理论模型,分析了研发投入在FDI前向关联促进技术创新中的作用,并利用制造业面板数据从研发人员投入和研发经费投入视角,实证分析了FDI前向关联对我国制造业技术创新影响的门槛效应,结果发现:总体上,FDI前向关联能否促进我国制造业技术创新,研发人员投入和研发经费投入起到重要作用。从按FDI进入程度分组考察来看,在FDI进入程度高制造业,FDI前向关联效应对技术创新有促进作用,且随着研发人员投入和研发经费投入的增加而提高;在FDI进入程度低制造业,FDI前向关联效应对制造业技术创新无明显影响,即使提高研发人员投入和研发经费投入水平也没有显著改变。
This paper constructs a model to analyze the role of RD input in FDI forward linkage thataffect host countries' technological innovation.Using manufacturing industry panel data, we take an empirical analysis of the threshold effect of FDI forward linkage on technological innovation in manufacturing industry from the points of RD personnel investment and RD expenditure.The results show that RD personnel investment and RD expenditure bothplay significant roles generallyin determining whether FDI forward linkage promote manufacturing industry technological innovation. This paper examinesthe influences of different FDI entry degree, the result shows that in the manufacturing industry involving high FDI entry degree, the effects of FDI forward linkage on technological innovation gradually expand with the increase of RD personnel investmentand RD expenditure; in the manufacturing industry involving low FDI entry degree, FDI forward linkagehas no significant impact on manufacturing industry technological innovationeven thoughlevel of RD personnel investment and RD expenditure rises.
