摘要
研究了古希腊创造现代意义上的数学之根本原因.依次论述了(1)古希腊海洋文明催生了城邦文明.(2)城邦的教育体系提高了公民的整体素质.(3)城邦的辩论决定一切的政体催生了哲学家.(4)追问事物本原的特性,哲学家探求数学知识的本质特征.(5)泰勒斯、毕达哥拉斯、柏拉图、亚里士多德、欧几里得、阿基米德和阿波罗尼奥斯等人对希腊数学的贡献.
It is studied that the basic reason of the creation of mathematics in modern sense inancient Greek. It is discussed in tu rn （1） The ancient Greek marine civilization has spawned the pollscivilization. （2） The education system of the polls has improved the overall quality of the citizens. （3）In the polis, the debate has decided that all the polity has spawned Aphilosophers. （4） Characteristicsof aphilosophers asking the origin of things, they seek the essential characteristics of mathematicalknowledge. （5 ） Contribution of Thales, Pythagoras, Plato, Aristotle , Euclid , Archimedes,and Apollonius et al to ancient Greek mathematics.
