摘要
随着我国经济的快速发展,社会对于高层次、复合型商务英语人才的需求不断增加。为适应这一变化,商务英语专业的课程体系也在不断更新。在教育部颁布的《高等学校商务英语专业本科教学质量国家标准》中明确要求商务英语专业的毕业论文要能体现学生对商务英语和专业知识的综合运用能力。在这一标准指导下,以实证方法研究商务现象的论文将逐步取代传统的以商务话语或文本为研究对象的商务语言学论文。基于阐述两种论文在研究对象、研究方法和理论基础方面的区别,提出适合本科生采用的四种商务研究模式和选题来源,阐述了在商务英语专业开展实践类毕业论文对实现培养复合型、应用型人才目标的重要意义。
The accelerating growth of China＇ s economy has led China to play an increasingly important role in the world market and given rise to the growing demands for inter - disciplinary Business English talents. To meet the demands, business courses have gradually been integrated into the Business English program. The newly issued National Criterion of Teaching Quality for BA program in Business English stipulates that BA theses should demonstrate students＇ applying and synthesizing ability of English and business knowledge. Under this direction, English theses focusing on business issues should gradually replace the traditional theses based on linguistic theories and discourse analysis. This article first illustrates the differences between the two types of theses from the perspectives of research goals, methods and theoretical bases. It presents four research patterns and the related sources of topic selection that are feasible to Business English majors. In light of the National Criterion, this article highlights how Writing English thesis onbusiness topics can contribute to developing inter- disciplinary and applied Business English talents.
