摘要
本研究运用语料库语言学的研究方法,从教材中提取出330个目标词块,考察了程式性指标输入频率和搭配强度对目标词块在400篇非英语专业学生非限时写作中输出情况的影响。研究结果显示,输入频率与输出频率显著正相关,高频词块比低频词块容易习得和输出;搭配强度与输出频率显著负相关,与搭配强度较低的词块相比,搭配强度较高的词块习得和输出的难度更大。
Using corpus linguistic techniques,this study identifies 330 target chunks from textbooks and investigates how input frequency and collocational strength,seen as two indices of formulaicity,affect the output of the target chunks in 400 untimed compositions written by non-English majors. The results show a significant positive correlation between input frequency and output frequency,indicating that high-frequency chunks are easier to acquire and produce than low-frequency ones; whereas a significant negative correlation is found between collocational strength and output frequency,suggesting that chunks with stronger collocational strength are more difficult to acquire and produce than those with less strong collocational strength.
