Advance in plant membrane-bound transcription factors and plant stress response

摘要 植物膜结合转录因子(membrane-bound transcription factors,MTFs)是植物转录因子家族中一类带有跨膜结构域的转录调控因子。通常它们以休眠的形式定位在细胞膜结构上,在体内或体外信号的作用下,从膜上释放到细胞核中,行使转录因子功能。现就植物膜结合转录因子的结构特点、在环境胁迫响应中的作用及释放机制等最新研究进展进行概述,并对植物膜结合转录因子今后的研究方向和在植物耐逆基因工程中的作用提出展望。 Plant membrane-bound transcription factors are thought to be potential components of developmental or environmental signaling due to their unique requirement for proteolytic cleavage to free them from the membrane. In this review, we provide an overview of recent findings on MTFs in plants and we focus on the structural characteristics, the role in the environmental stress response and the release mechanism of the MTFs. The future research direction of the plant membrane-bound transcription factors in plant stress tolerance gene engineering is proposed.
