Dimorphic cleistogamous plants produce both closed （cleistogamous, CL）flowers and open （chasmogamous, CH） flowers on the same individual or on different individuals. However, few studies have investigated the genetic regulation of CH and CL flowering patterning in a naturally cleistogamous species.
