Objective To investigate the effect of standard health education path on chemo- therapy nursing of patients with acute leukemia. Methods A total of 88 acute leukemia patients with chemotherapy were divided into two groups, 44 cases in each group. The control group was given rou- tine nursing, while the observation group was given additional standard health education path. Quality of life and complications were observed in both groups. Results The incidence rates of complications such as vomiting, hair loss regeneration, bone marrow suppression, fatigue, discomfort, bleeding, o- ral mucositis in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P 〈 0.05). After nursing, levels of white blood cells and platelets decreased significantly in both groups, alanine aminotransferase increased significantly, and the three indexes in the observation group were significantly better than the control group ( P 〈 0.05 ). After nursing, scores of SAS and SDS signifi- cantly decreased in both groups, and the SAS and SDS in the observation group were significantly low- er than those in the control group (P 〈 0.05 ). After nursing, scores of physiological condition, psy- chological condition, social condition, enviromnenta] condition in the observation group were signifi- cantly higher than those before treatment and control group (P 〈 0.05 ). Conclusion Standard health education path can reduce incidence rate of complications during chemotherapy in patients with acute leukemia and improve the quality of life.
