摘要
焦虑是影响外语学习的重要情感因素之一。本文在回顾国内外外语焦虑研究发展的基础上,运用定性和定量分析相结合的方法,对我国18种外语类期刊2006-2015年发表的外语焦虑研究相关论文进行统计分析,主要从外语焦虑研究的总体趋势、研究对象、研究内容和研究方法 4个层面评述我国外语焦虑研究的概况。统计分析结果显示:(1)论文数量呈动态增长趋势;(2)研究对象较为单一,在校本科生占绝对比例;(3)研究内容主要包含本体研究、综合研究、应用研究、相关性研究、影响因素研究和实验教学研究等;(4)研究方法以实证研究为主,论述性研究为辅。基于分析结果,文章反思了我国外语焦虑研究的不足之处,展望了外语焦虑研究的发展前景。
Anxiety is one of the important affective variables affecting foreign language learning. Based on a brief sur- vey of the development in foreign language anxiety research both at home and abroad, and the papers on foreign lan- guage anxiety published in 18 foreign language journals in China from 2006 to 2015, this paper gives a quantitative and qualitative analysis of foreign language anxiety research in the decade in China from the perspectives of research trends, subjects, contents and methodologies. The results indicate that: ( 1 ) the amount of the papers presents a dy- namic rise on the whole; (2) the undergraduates account for a dominant percentage of the subjects; (3) the fields include ontological, comprehensive, applied and correlational research, and research on affecting variables and with teaching experiments; (4) empirical research far outweighs theoretical research in the methodologies. Based on the results, the paper discusses the limitations of the domestic research on foreign language anxiety, and proposes direc- tions and prospects for its future development.
