摘要
通过对澳洲原住民叙事《卡彭塔利亚湾》中的高陌生度文本的实例分析,说明了动态建构的文化图式是读者与作者进行意义沟通的媒介,是读者对文本进行解读的认知机制。读者首先激活人类共享的人文精神的一般图式,再补充关于澳洲原住民历史、社会、文化、信仰、观念、法律等背景知识,建构出澳洲原住民的生态图式、"梦幻"图式、被殖民的悲怆命运图式。建构的文化图式具有文本推理能力,助推读者在非规约文本的高陌生度语料中,挖掘出文本中蕴含的深层次主题,使读者准确理解作者欲表达的捍卫古老原住民文化的意愿,感知原住民失去家园的苍凉,鉴赏到文本本身彰显的桀骜不驯的审美价值。
Through the analysis of the Australian Aboriginal novel Carpentaria,the paper illustrates that the dynamic construction of cultural schema is the medium between the communication of readers and authors,which is also the cognitive mechanism of readers' understanding of the text.Readers would activate the universal schema of humanism,and add such background knowledge as Australian Aboriginal history,society,culture,religion and law to construct the Aboriginal ecological schema,Dreaming schema,and the tragic fate of being colonized schema.The constructed cultural schemas enable the readers to make inferences,to explore the deep theme of the unconventional text of a high degree of unfamiliarity,and to understand the intended meaning of the Aboriginal writers for defending their ancient Aboriginal culture.As a result,the readers would perceive better the desolate fate of Aboriginal people losing their homes and appreciate the aesthetic value of the text.
