The Influence of Tip Clearance on the Contra Rotating Axial Flow Fan Performance

摘要 为了研究分析顶部间隙对旋风机内部三维流场和性能参数的影响,分别对2.5%、3.0%、3.5%、4.0%四种顶部间隙建立从集流器入口到扩散器出口的三维全流道作为计算域,采用SIMPLE算法和RNG湍流模型,通过专业流体计算软件Fluent求解三维Navier-stokes方程,对三维全流场进行数值模拟.结果得出顶部间隙产生的泄漏流在二级叶轮间隙处泄漏相比于一级叶轮处更加恶劣,其影响范围也有所扩大,顶部间隙对对旋风机效率和全压的影响程度比单叶轮风机更加严重.因此,考虑到制造水平和转子振动的限制,合理地设计顶部间隙,不仅可以改善风机性能,而且可以避免叶片与机壳接触发生故障,造成意外事故. To research and analyze the influence of tip clearance on the internal three-dimensional flow field and performance parameters, it is as the computational domain that four kinds of tip clearance physical model inclu- ding 2.5% , 3.0% , 3.5% and 4.0% respectively are set up by adopting three-dimensional full port from the col- lector inlet to the diffuser outlet. It is numerically simulated by using SIMPLE algorithm and RNG turbulent model and employing the conclusion to the three-dimensional Navier-stokes equations solved by professional fluid calcula- tion software Fluent. As a result, it is found that the influence of tip clearance leakage flow in the secondary impel- ler is worse and more widened compared to the primary impeller. At the same time, it is obtained that the degree to which tip clearance impacts on efficiency and total pressure of the contra rotating fan is more serious than the single impeller fan. Therefore, considering the limitation of manufacturing level and the rotor vibration, that tip clearance reasonably is designed not only to improve the fan performance, but to avoid the blade coming into contact with the casing failure and then cause an accident.
