Objective To study and analyze the effect of cervical dilation balloon to promote cervical ripening of full-term pregnancy. Methods 94 cases of pregnant women with indications of induced labor in our hospital from July 2015 to June 2016 were selected and divided into observation group and control group with 47 cases in each according to the method of induction. Women in observation group were treated with cervical dilation balloon induced labor, and patients in control group by oxytocin induction labor. The effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of cervical ripening in observation group was 93.62% (44/47),which was significantly higher than that in control group (36/47),and the difference was statistically significant (P〈0.05).The Bishop score of the two groups after maternal treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment, and Bishop score of observation group after treatment was significantly higher than that in the control group. The above differences were statistically significant (P〈0.05).The successful rate of induced labor in the observation group was 95.74% (45/47),which was significantly higher than that of control group with 82.98% (39/47),and the differences were statistically significant (P 〈 0.05). Conclusioin The effect of cervical dilation balloon to promote cervical ripening of full-term pregnancy is obvious. It can improve the success rate of induced labor, promote natural delivery^and reduce the rate of cesarean section.
