摘要
时间数字转换器(TDC)是时间间隔测量设备的重要部件,其性能参数和误差对时间间隔测量系统的设计和性能有较大影响;时间间隔测量方法不同,TDC的性能参数和误差在设计中的影响也不同。本文介绍了TDC的性能参数,并根据TDC的测量特点分析了测量误差来源,研究了误差对测量结果的影响。文章以延时环缩减法为例,对TDC性能参数和误差因素在系统TDC设计中的影响进行了分析说明。
Time-to-digital converter(TDC) is an important part of time interval measurement equipment, so its performance and eirors have great effects on the design and performance of time interval measurement system, and the effects will vary with different time interval measurement methods. The performance parameters of TDC are introduced and measurement error sources are analyzed according to TDC measurement characteristics. Then the effects of these errors on measurements are studied in this paper. Taking the ring delay reduced method as an example, the effects of performance parameters and error factors on the TDC design are analyzed and illustrated.
