摘要
在社会活动中,数字无处不在,它与人类生活息息相关。本文将数字分为"抽象数字"与"具体数字",并且对比了英汉两种数字表达的差异,探讨了数字英译中应该遵循的三种翻译方法,以指导译者进行正确的数字英译活动。
In social activities, numbers, closely related to people＇ s daily life, are everywhere. This paper divides numbers into two categories, namely abstract figures and concrete figures. It also analyzes expression diffcrcncas of numbers between English and Chinese, and puts forth three translation principles and methods, so as to guide translators to achieve better results and reduce difficulties in number translation.
