This thesis considers the prerequisites, terms and expected consequences of the implementation of?The Silk Road Economic Belt?. This project is positioned as both a new transport route and also as a global project of development under the initiative of the People' s Republic of China. The paper will explore key opportunities and risks of the implementation which is predicted to provide momentous growth to Eurasia's economies. This includes the economies of member states to the Eurasian Economic Union, including the Republic of Kazakhstan related to the implementation of the project" Silk Road Economic Belt ".
