摘要
黄杲炘在"以顿代步"基础上"兼顾顿数、字数和韵式"的"三兼顾"译诗法为英语格律诗汉译设定量化模型,旨在实现格律对应和诗体移植,然而,这一貌似科学的译诗"必经的途径"抵制如民族化译法、创造性移植等诸多有益经验,并失之于因生硬移植而貌似忠实的流弊,主要缘于汉诗"顿"与英诗"步"作为节奏单位的貌似对等,应予以重新审视,并探索基于其他节奏单位对等的格律移植策略。
The ＂Emulation Method,＂ proposed by Huang Gaoxin, sets a quantitative model for English-Chinese metrical poetry translation, by simultaneously paying attention to the number of pauses, the number of characters, and the scheme of rhyme,which is developed from ＂Pause Corresponding to Foot,＂ aiming at meter corresponding and genre transplanting. However, the so-called scientific and necessary way of translation denies other trials such as domestication and inventive transplanting, violating the fidelity principle with its stiff corresponding and matching mainly between the two unequivalent rhythm traits--Chinese ＂Pause＂ and English ＂Foot. ＂Therefore, the seemingly reasonable and practical ＂Emulation Method＂ should be examined, leaving possibilities of other strategies of metrical transplanting based on other rhythm units＇ equivalence.
