摘要
At his meeting with President Baraek Obama of the United States at the Annenberg Retreat in California in June 2o13, Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed building a new model of major-country relations. This new model, in his words, constitutes three principles： （a） no conflict or confrontation, which is a prerequisite; （b） mutual respect, which provides the basis for healthy major-country rela- tions; and （e） mutually beneficial cooperation, which pro- vides the means to make this vision a reality.
