Characteristics and Formation of Fluvial Geomorphology in the Dikeng Section of the Yuexi River(a Branch of the Jialing River)

摘要 以川东丘陵区越溪河低坑段为研究对象,分析其地貌特征,探讨地貌成因,并揭示地貌演化过程。基于野外调查与地形分析,将该研究区域划分为四段:瀑布上游河段、瀑布、U型河谷段、V型河谷段,并分别对其地貌特征进行描述。认为河流侵蚀基准面下降引起的河流溯源侵蚀,以及该区域的地质构造、岩性差异、气候和水文条件是形成该段河流地貌的主要原因。 Fluvial geomorphology is a common landform in geomorphology,the evolution process of fluvial geomorphology is also a process of which flowing water acts on the surface and transform land. Therefore,we take fluvial geomorphology in the Dikeng section of the Yuexi River area in Sichuan Hilly Area of China as research object,analyzing its features,studying its cause and revealing its evolution process. The dissertation is divided into three parts in terms of its study area,based on the field reconnaissance and terrain analysis: the upper river of waterfall,the Ushape river valley and the V-shape river valley. The paper describes their landform characteristics respectively. The headward erosion,geological structure,lithologic differences,climate and hydrological conditions are main reasons for the formation of the fluvial geomorphology. This study will enrich the research of river geomorphology in small river,and provide scientific basis for the origin and evolution process of river geomorphology in Sichuan Hilly Area of China.
