Effects of Welding Parameters on MIG Welding AZ31 Magnesium Alloy

摘要 对AZ31镁合金焊板进行MIG焊焊接,研究工艺参数对熔滴过渡,焊缝成形、组织和性能的影响。结果表明,随着电流增加,电压在1V范围内逐渐减小,熔滴依次为大滴过渡、射滴过渡、射流过渡,熔滴尺寸相应地减小,同时电弧高度减小,宽度变大。焊缝成形影响也较大,当电流大于180A时,焊缝成形良好。随着电流增大,电压减小,熔宽、熔深、余高均增加,但深宽比减小。焊缝的晶粒远小于热影响区的晶粒,随着线能量增大,焊缝和热影响区晶粒尺寸增大,但硬度降低。 AZ31 magnesium alloy sheet was welded by MIG.Effects of process parameters on droplet transfer,jointing formation,microstructure and properties of the joint were analyzed.The results reveal that with increasing in current,the voltage in the range of one volt is gradually reduced,and the droplet is evolved into globular transferring into the projected transferring to the spray transferring successively,and droplet size is correspondingly reduced.In addition,arc height is reduced with widening the width.With the current more than 180 A,welding joint exhibits desirable.With the current increase and the voltage decrease,bead width,penetration depth and reinforcement are increased with decrease of the aspect ratio.Grain size in welding joint is much smaller than that of heat-affected zone.With the linear energy increase,the grain size in welding joint and heat affected zone are increased,however,the hardness is decreased.
