摘要
潮汕善堂始于宋代,崇奉大峰祖师。千百年来,潮汕善堂绵延不绝、深入民众、多方行善,广联海外,形成了独特的善堂文化。其特色表现为:民间信仰强力支撑其存续;具有强烈的延展性;生命力非常旺盛。潮汕善堂文化对于当今慈善发展的启示是:传统资源在慈善发展中大有可为;慈善组织应该行为规范服务社会;慈善组织必须把握方向合理定位。
The Chaoshan Philanthropy Halls （CPH） built in Song Dynasty, which believed in Master Da-feng, and it was a civil philanthropy organization with religious overtones. For thousands of years, Chaoshan Philanthropy Halls had been going on continually, penetrated into people, done good by various ways, contacted the overseas widely, and formed a special philanthropy hall culture. Its unique characteristics represented in strong support for the existence of folk beliefs; having a strong extension; and having a very powerful vitality. The Chaoshan philanthropy hall culture＇s inspiration for today＇s charity development are that the traditional resources have a brilliant future in charity development, philanthropy organizations should act to regulate the service to the community, and philanthropy organizations must grasp the direction of rational positioning.
