摘要
中介语石化现象对于中国英语口语学习者而言普遍存在,概念隐喻理论与石化现象有着类似的心理认知机制。从认知的维度探索概念隐喻对提升学习者英语口语能力的有效性,从而在一定程度上有效消解英语口语石化现象的发生。
Fossilization of intedanguage universally exists among the English learners in China. The theory of conceptual metaphor and fossilization share the similar psychological and cognitive mechanism. The paper tries to explore the effectiveness of the improve- ment of English oral competence for Chinese students fostered by conceptual metaphor from the perspective of cognition. Therefore, we could inhibit the occurence of English oral fossilization.
