摘要
对KC蜡和K蜡的灰分、收缩和抗弯强度三种模料特性进行了对比研究。结果显示:KC蜡的灰分小于0.07%,符合公司内控标准;在自由收缩状态下,KC蜡的收缩小于K蜡,收缩可控;KC蜡的抗弯强度(9.527 MPa)大于K蜡(6.197 MPa),因而更适合制作易变形的钛合金熔模精密铸件。在上述研究的基础上,对KC蜡进行了工程化应用,首次将其应用于某大型复杂钛合金熔模精密铸件中,达到了降本增效,提高质量的效果。
The wax properties of ash, shrinkage and bending strength of KC wax and K wax were compared and studied. The results show that the ash content of KC wax is less than 0.07%, which meets the company's inner quality standard. Under the free shrinkage stage, the shrinkage of KC wax is smaller than that of K wax, and it is also controllable. The bending strength of KC wax which is 9.527 MPa is bigger than that of K wax which is 6.197 MPa. Therefore, the KC wax is more suitable for the titanium investment casting which is easy to deform. On the basis of above research, the engineering application of KC wax was carried out. It was applied to a large complex titanium alloy investment casting for the first time, which achieved the effect of reducing the cost and improving the quality.
