摘要
针对在立式离心式滚磨光整加工后磨料颗粒与工件之间出现的分层现象,本文对该加工过程中是否存在巴西果效应进行了研究。考虑到离心式滚磨光整加工时的封闭性,无法进行实时观察,提出采用离散元模拟的方法来探索工件和磨料颗粒之间的相对位置规律,分别选取球形和圆盘形工件,球形、三棱柱、正四面体和圆柱体磨料颗粒进行分析对比。模拟结果表明,立式离心式滚磨加工中确实存在分层现象,且形状特征对加工时工件与磨料颗粒之间的相对位置有一定的影响。对巴西果效应的研究有助于设计人员进一步研究离心式滚磨光整加工机理,优化加工工艺。
Aiming to the stratification phenomenon between workpieces and abrasive particles observed after the processing in vertical centrifugal barrel finishing,the Brazil nut segregation in the process was reaseached.Due to the closed characteristics of centrifugal barrel finishing device and the inability of real-time observation during processing,the discrete element method simulation was proposed to investigate the relative position between the workpieces and abrasive particles,where the workpieces with the shape of sphere and disk and abrasive particles with the shape of sphere,triangular prism,regular tetrahedron and cylinder were selected for analysis and comparison.The simulation results show that the stratification phenomenon does exist in the vertical centrifugal barrel finishing process and the shape characteristic has a certain influence on the relative position between the workpiece and the abrasive particles.The research on Brazil nut segregation is of great significance for further understanding the mechanism of centrifugal barrel finishing process and optimization of the process design.
