摘要
指纹识别技术被广泛应用于身份识别等领域,指纹图像增强是指纹预处理过程所要解决的核心问题。论文提出基于双滤波器的动态指纹图像增强算法。利用动态2维Gabor滤波器分离粘连脊线的能力很强,方向滤波器具有较强连接断裂脊线的能力,而且输出结构为二值图像的特点,使用Gabor滤波器与方向滤波器互补滤波。通过对图像进行第二次增强,从而达到较为理想的增强效果。大量实验结果显示,此算法对指纹图像的平移与旋转变化反应不明显、有利于细节点提取而且易于实现。
Fingerprint identification technology is widely used in areas such as identification.The key of preprocess of fingerprint is fingerprint image enhancement.This paper proposes a dynamic fingerprint image enhancement algorithm based on double filter.It has strong ablity to separate the adhesion ridge line by the dynamic 2demission Gabor filter and to connect fracture ridges with directional filter.The advantages of these two filters are output which is binary image.Gabor filter and directional filter can be used to enhance the image for a second time to achieve better effect.Plenty of experiments show that this algorithm has lower reaction of translation and rotation of fingerprint images.It is advantageous to extract details and easy to implement.
