摘要
结合《新实用英语视听说教程》插图语料,在视觉语法分析框架和图像隐喻构式指导下,探讨多模态大学英语教材建构大学生视觉素养的过程和范式。结果发现:(一)《教程》符合第五代立体化教材和多模态教材的编写理念;(二)《教程》插图能帮助学生提高理解听力练习和口语拓展模块内容的视觉素养;(三)《教程》插图重点在于培养学生视觉素养的涵指认知能力。
This paper combines the illustration corpus of New Practical English Viewing Listening andSpeaking Textbook and visual grammar framework as well as the construction of pictorial metaphor to explorethe process and paradigm of college students' visual literacy through multimodal college English textbooks.The primary finding of the paper is addressed as follows: first, the textbook is compliable with the editionnotion of the fifth integrated textbooks and multimodal course books ; second, the textbook's illustrations caneffectively help students to enhance their visual literacy of comprehending the content of listening practicemode and speaking developing mode; third, illustrations in the textbooks mainly focus on fostering students'connotative capability of visual literacy.
