Worldwide scholars pay more and more attention to Okinawa literature which has turned into an important and special part of Japanese literature from marginal one. This paper takes the three novels of the Akutagawa Prize which is the top award for Japanese literature as objects, whose contents passed down the ages, and analyzes Okinawa's changes and epiphany from the perspective of "the other" and "self" based on post-colonialism. The paper reveals Okinawa writers' reflection on racial future and ethical concern about racial destiny. The word "epiphqny in the title" has the similar pronunciation with the word "Okinawa" in Chinese, which is also a pun for the brighter future of traumatic Okinawa.
