摘要
天然存在的放射性物质(NORM)的废物总体数量庞大是我国国情的一大特点。低水平放射性NORM废物的妥善处置,能有效防止放射性污染辐射环境。做好辐射防护最优化设计,是保护公众和辐射环境安全的强有力措施。本文介绍了低水平放射性NORM废物的特点、管理现状、处置设计规范及工程设计实例,为低水平放射性NORM废物的规模化、规范化处置提供参考和借鉴。
The huge amount of the waste of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) waste is one of the characteristics of our national conditions. The proper disposal of low level radioactive NORM waste can effectively prevent environment pollution from radiation. Optimal design of radiation protection is a powerful measure to protect the public and the environment. The features, management status, de- sign specification and engineering design practice of low level NORM waste are introduced in the paper. It provides reference for large-scale and standardized disposal of low level NORM waste.
