摘要
数字资源长期保存是通过对数字信息生命周期的管理,超越技术的变化和最终用户群体的变化,保证数字对象的长期可访问、可理解和可利用,需要解决的关键问题之一就是保证保存数字对象在其保存生命周期内均可在存储介质上定位并利用。SIRF(Self-contained Information Retention Format)是一个用于长期保存的逻辑存储格式,既可以满足OAIS的逻辑保存需求,又可以克服长期保存系统对底层存储介质依赖性较强的弊端。本文在详细分析SIRF存储格式的基础上,提出SIRF应用模型,进而对SIRF应用效果进行了深入分析。对"SIRF与长期保存数字对象的不变性"研究,将对数字资源长期保存系统的建设起到抛砖引玉的作用。
Long-term digital preservation of digital resources is to ensure the long-term accessibility, understandability and usability of digital objects, regardless of changes in technologies and end users, through the management of the lifeeycle of digital information. One of the key issues to address is the storage subsystem where the digital objects can be located and utilized throughouttheir lifecycle. SIRF (Self-contained Information Retention Format ) is a logical storage container format for long-term retention and preservation. SIRF is OAIS-aware, and the SIRF format is a mountable unit storage container that does not rely on actual medium. This paper, on the basis of introducing the basic concept of SIRF format in details, proposes SIRF application model and analyzes the application effects of SIRF.
