Objective:To investigate the influence of unit management mode for the ability of patients with severe stroke self -care and rehabilitation effect .Methods:A total of 120 cases of severe stroke patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the con -trol group, each group with 60 cases. The control group used routine care ,while the observation group based on the control group used the unit management model ,including the assessment unit ,nursing unit ,rehabilitation unit ,education unit .Before and after the intervention ,u-sing the self-care ability scale,Mini Mental State Examination(MMSE),Fugl-Meyer motor function integral method(FMA),Barthel index is to evaluate two groups′self-care ability, nerve function amd motor function .Results:After the intervention, the observation group′s self-efficacy score, health knowledge, self care skills, self concept,self-care responsibility scores were significantly higher than those of the con-trol group(P〈0.05).FMA score,Barthel index were significantly higher than those of the control group (P〈0.05),while the NIHSS score was significantly lower than that in the control group (P〈0.05).Conclusion:The neurology unit management mode can provide sys-tematic and comprehensive nursing service for the patients with severe stroke ,and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the patients ,so that pa-tients can actively respond to the disease ,and help to improve the prognosis of patients.
