Object To explore the clinical significance of FeNO detection in stable COPD patients. Methods A total of 80 patients with stable COPD and 87of healthy people had finished detected lung function and FeNO test. Meanwhile the FeNO level were to be compared between this two gruops. Results (1)The average FeNO of COPD were(17.6±10.3)ppb and healthy people were 20.6±15.7ppb, which had no statistical difference(P=0.14〉0.05). (2)The average FeNO of no-smokers COPD 16.6±7.4 ppb and no-smokers healthy people were 22.4± 12.3 ppb, which had statistical difference P 〈 0.05. Conclusion FeNO detection played no important role in the judgement for stable COPD patients, but the average FeNO of no-smokers stable COPD patients were significantly lower than no-smokers healthy people.
