摘要
教育数据挖掘是分析教育数据背后所蕴藏的教育规律的一种新途径。美国作为高等教育发达国家,重视基于实证研究传统的院校研究,整合高等教育院校研究与计算机信息技术和数理统计的研究成果,以教育数据挖掘汇集聚焦高等学校招生、学生学习行为、教育经费的收支等现实困境,探索教育大数据、富数据背后的内在机理,寻找应对高校发展挑战的决策支持方案,推动美国高校形成数据支持决策的管理模式。
Educational data mining is a new approach to analyze the regulations of education from the educational data. As a developed country in higher education field, USA attaches great importance to institutional research based on the traditional positivist research, integrating the research results of higher education and computer and mathematical statistics. It focuses on realistic dilemma of school enrollment, students' learning behavior, education funds to explore the internal mechanism from "big data", "rich data", looking for the decision supported program to cope with the challenges of the university development and promoting the formation of decision-making management mode supported by data.
