摘要
本研究旨在通过一学期教学实验,检验"产出导向法"的教学有效性。研究发现:1)与对照组相比,实验组英语总体水平无显著差异,但听力、写作水平显著提高,阅读水平显著下降,翻译水平无显著变化;2)实验组英语高水平学生显著提高,而对照组英语高水平学生无显著变化;3)实验组对"产出导向法"持非常肯定的态度,他们学习英语的动机得到明显加强。本文最后对研究结果进行了进一步讨论,并指出有效实施"产出导向法"需注意的问题及未来研究方向。
This experimental study sets out to examine the effectiveness of the production-oriented approach(POA) in college English teaching. Three findings are revealed. Firstly, although no significant difference was found between the control group(CG) and the experimental group(EG) in terms of overall English proficiency, EG showed significant increase in listening and writing skills, no significant change in translation skill and significant decrease in reading skill, as compared to CG. Secondly, the high proficiency students in EG improved significantly, while those in CG made little progress. Thirdly, EG had very positive feedback towards POA, which motivated them greatly in English learning. Some suggestions are also put forward for implementing POA effectively and for future research.
