Enlightenment from the traditional cultures of the ethnic minorities to the enhancement of the students' socialist core values in universities for nationalities in China

摘要 民族高校大学生社会主义核心价值观的教育是高校思想政治教育工作的重要组成部分。民族高校多处在民族地区并集聚大量的少数民族大学生,具有较为特殊的民族文化背景。我国的传统文化既指中华民族的传统文化,又指中华各民族特别是55个少数民族的传统文化。各民族文化间的价值观念、道德情操、生活方式千差万别,众多差异中又有重叠的共识,这些重叠共识就是少数民族传统文化中的公认价值追求,就是少数民族一切生产生活的动力之源。少数民族传统文化与社会主义核心价值观互动互促,前者为后者提供养分,后者为前者指明方向。少数民族传统文化对民族高校大学生社会主义核心价值观教育具有能动作用。 The education for enhancing the students' socialist core values in universities for nationalities in China is an important part of the ideological and political education in Chinese universities. The universities for nationalities in China, most of which are located in the ethnic minority areas, have special ethnic cultures due to their enrolment of a large number of minority students. The traditional culture of China refers to both the traditional culture of the Chinese nation and the traditional cultures of the 55 minority groups besides the traditional culture of the Han people. The values, ethnic criteria and lifestyles of the ethnic groups of China have similarities and differences. These similarities are the shared values in the traditional cultures of the ethnic minorities of China and the motive force of their life and production. The traditional cultures of the ethnic minorities of China interact with the socialist core values for mutual development, with the former enlightening the latter and the latter guiding the former. The traditional cultures of the ethnic minorities have a positive effect on the education for enhancing the students' socialist core values in universities for nationalities in China.
