Objective To compare the effect of tramadol and sodium zoledronic acid in treatment of patients with multiple myeloma on the bone metabolism. Methods Random selection 40 cases of patients with multiple myeloma admitted and treated in our hospital from December 2012 to October 2016 were selected and divided into two groups, the observation group adopted the sodium zoledronic acid, while the control group adopted the tramadol for treatment, and the total treatment effective rate, normal rate of blood calcium level, incidence rate of pains and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The data showed that the total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(85.00% vs 40.00%)(P<0.05), and the normal rate of blood calcium level in the observation group was obviously higher than that in the control group(80.00% vs 40.00%)(P<0.05), and the incidence rate of painless in the observation group was obviously higher than that in the control group(50.00% vs 10.00%)(P<0.05), and there were no adverse reactions affecting the treatment effect during the treatment period in the two groups. Conclusion The effect of sodium zoledronic acid in treatment of patients with multiple myeloma is ideal, and the safety is high, which is of very important significance to improving the treatment prognosis of patients and reducing the pains degree.
