逻辑式的普遍性:论元量化语义运算与句法结构左向拓展

摘要 考察逻辑式在生成句法自管约论始各阶段的理论发展与变化,其特征为论元量化语义运算与句法结构左向拓展,本质上是句法-语义接口解读方式的不断深化。逻辑式在生成语言学理论发展中经历了概念的演变和表达形式的变化,致使人们对逻辑式的认识产生迷失。结论有助于说明逻辑式在生成句法中应有的地位,澄清一些认识问题。逻辑式在生成句法中具有普遍性。 This paper investigates the development and change of Logical Form (LF) from GB Theory to Labeling Algorithm inGenerative Syntax. LF is characterized as the syntactic peripheral extension to elaborate arguments' quantificational meaning. Itis essentially a further exploration into syntax-semantics interface. In the tradition of Generative Linguistics, LF has experiencedchanges in its conceptions and expressions, which has caused some vague understandings among scholars. This paper is an effortto clarify certain vagueness and ascertain its status in Generative Syntax. LF remains universal in the Generative tradition.
