摘要
数字不平等是信息社会的一种新的不平等。文章依循数字不平等这一概念框架从产生到发展的研究线索,回顾和讨论了社会科学领域的相关文献,认为数字不平等研究对数字鸿沟研究既有直接的继承性,又有其独特性。它依旧关注ICT带来的不平等,但它突破了数字鸿沟"二分法"的局限,深入分析互联网使用者在接入、使用、技能等方面的差异及其产生机制与社会影响;并试图将互联网使用作为划分社会阶层的新标准,提出数字社会分层,是对社会结构变化的深刻研判。文章最后讨论了数字不平等研究面临的问题和挑战。参考文献48。
Digital inequality is a new form of inequality in the information society. This paper reviews and discusses the relevant litera tures in the field of social sciences according to the research clue of the conceptual framework of digital inequality from birth to development, and concludes that digital inequality research has direct inheritance and uniqueness to digital divide research. It is still coneerned about the inequality caused by ICT, but has broken through the limitations of the dichotomy of the digital divide. This paper deeply analyzes the differences of internet users in access, use, skills and other differences and its mechanism and social impact, tries to take internet use as a new standard for the division of social classes, puts forward digital social stratification is a profound study of social structure changes. At last, the problems and challenges of digital inequality research are discussed.
