Experimental Research on One-side Welding Both Sides Formation of Plasma Arc Welding for TA2 Plates with Thickness of 8 mm

摘要 采用等离子弧焊接方法对8 mm纯钛厚板进行了焊接,研究了纯钛单面焊双面成形的焊缝质量、显微组织。结果表明,采用等离子弧焊接方法可以实现单面焊双面成形,能得到成形良好的焊缝。较之其他方法,等离子弧焊工艺简单,两板对接不用开坡口,省材省力。通过焊缝组织微观分析,焊缝中除了少许微孔,没有夹杂物、裂纹等缺陷。焊缝组织为少量锯齿形α+针状马氏体,热影响区及熔合线为锯齿形α+板条马氏体组织。相较钛合金的其他焊接方法,等离子弧焊接是极具发展前景的优良焊接方法。 The pure titanium plates with thickness of 8 mm were welded by plasma arc welding method, and the weld quality of one-side welding both sides formation and microstructure of pure titanium welded joint were studied. The results show that one-side welding both sides formation can be realized by plasma arc welding method, and good welding seam can be obtained. Compared with other methods, the plasma arc welding process is simple without groove preparation, and it saves labor and material. Through analysis of the weld microstructure, there is a little amout of micropores in weld zone, and no inclusions, cracks and other defects. The weld microstructure is a small amount of saw tooth c~ phase and acicular martensite, the microstructure of the heat affected zone and fusion line are saw tooth α phase and lath martensite. Compared with other welding methods of titanium alloy, the plasma arc welding is a very promising welding method.
