摘要
女性因生育而中断职业发展是一个常态化现象,就业与生育的平衡通常是诸多女性面临的两难选择。利用第三期中国妇女社会地位调查的数据,探讨生育支持措施对女性就业稳定是否有效,结果发现,加强对女性权益保障的法律支持、保障女性生育期间的经济支持和孩子照料支持等,对女性因生育中断就业能起到一定的缓冲作用。
As employment or fertility is usually a difficult alternative, it,s becoming normal for the female to break their career nowadays. Existing researches indicate that there are obvious negative relations between female fertility and employment. Based on the third phase of the Chinese women,s social status survey data, this paper aims to discuss whether the fertility support policy would be effective to females’ employment stability or not. The study shows that legal support, economic support and children-care support during the period of fertility can significantly reduce the possibility of females” career breaking.
