摘要
中国已进入了“邮轮旅游”快速增长的时期,邮轮人才的缺口也在不断扩大.高职院校培养的邮轮乘务人才质量与邮轮公司的要求仍存在较大差距,特别是学生的英语应用能力无法达到邮轮公司的要求.文章以笔者所在学院的国际邮轮乘务管理专业为例,运用专门用途英语ESP需求分析理论,通过分析主流邮轮公司用人要求以及高职国际邮轮乘务管理专业“邮轮实用英语”教学现状,对“邮轮实用英语”课程的课堂教学提出了项目化教学、体验式教学、分层教学以及综合评价的建议.
Cruise tourism in China has already entered its highly developing period, meanwhile, the gap of professional cruise talent is widening. And the graduates from the higher vocational colleges cannot meet the cruise companies’ requirement, especially, their English performance. Based on the research on International Cruise Service Management Specialty in Zhejiang International Maritime College, with the view of ESP needs analysis, the paper analyzes the needs of major cruise companies for employment and the current situation of Cruise Practical English teaching, thereby proposes the project teaching, the experimental teaching, the stratified teaching and the comprehensive assessment. Hoping it will help the students to improve their English application ability and help them get ready for the cruise work.
