摘要
一直以来,《祝福》都被解读为鲁迅对"封建礼教""吃人"主题的演绎,而鲁四老爷,也就首当其冲地成为被批判的对象,但是,一旦我们细究文本就会发现,真正逼死祥林嫂的并非鲁四老爷,而是柳妈和作为新知识分子的"我"。在小说中,鲁迅所批判的并非鲁四老爷为代表的封建礼教,而是像"我"一样自诩为启蒙主义者,既旧又新却又不新不旧的"新"知识分子。《祝福》中的"我"并非一个启蒙者,而是一个接受着鲁迅自我精神审判的时代投影。
The Benediction has long been interpreted as Lu Xun' s description of the theme, "the feudal eth- ics swallow man", and thus the lord Lu Si becomes the first object to blame. However, the detailed textual analysis shows, instead of Lu Si; it is Mother Liu and 'T' the new type intellectual who force Sister Xiang- lin to die. In the novel, what Lu Xun criticizes is not the feudal ethics represented by Lu Si, but the persons like 'T', who boasts himself as an Enlightener and a "new" intellectual with the characteristics of both the old intellectuals and the new, but in reality, he is neither the new nor the old. In the novel, 'T' is just a projec- tion of times bearing Lu Xun's spiritual self-criticism rather than an Enlightener.
