摘要
参借帕克等人的理论,本文尝试对"新闻真实"提出一点新的看法。研究认为,认识论意义上"新闻真实"并非"真实"本身,而是一种"假设真实"。作为一种知识,新闻的"知识合法性"确立一方面有赖于受众的信任与接受,另一方面则离不开媒体的合法化努力。就前者而言,尽管受众无法从认识论层面完全了解新闻是否真实从而只能进行假设,但假设的现实根基及其基本特征不断拷问着报道的社会合法性;就后者而言,力求"新闻真实"并赢得受众信任是媒体追寻合法化地位的内在要求,它不得不采用多重方式来追求真实报道。建基于此,"新闻真实"也被转化成了媒体的的职业伦理准则,这一来是为了建构媒体的社会认同,二来则是媒体在对抗外界权力主体时所采用的一个话语策略。
By referring to the theory of Park, this article attempts to understand the truth in Journalism with a new perspective. The research suggests that truth in journalism is not about truth itself but assumed truth. As a form of knowledge, news report has to establish its legitimacy in two ways. For one thing, news report must be accepted by audience. For another, the media must realize the legalization of themselves. As for the former, assumed truth from audience challenges the legitimacy of news report constantly. As for the latter, the media has to pursue the truth consistently in order to attain legalization. On this basis, truth in journalism has become a professional standard of the media at the same time. It can not only help the media to be recognized by others, but also become a discourse strategy of the media to resist others.
