摘要
本文介绍了《大学英语教学指南》(征求意见稿)以及ESP(专门用途英语)的发展简史。《大学英语教学指南》中强调ESP教育并为其指明了发展方向,结合中医学专业认证的实施,文章探讨中医药高等院校实行ESP教育的必要性,ESP教育改革和实践的具体措施。
This article briefly introduced A Guide to College English Teaching （Draft for comments） and the history of ESP （English for Specific Purposes） . A Guide to College English Teaching emphasizes the importance of ESP education and points out the direction for its development. Under the background of the implementation of Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM） Professional Certification, the paper probed into the necessity of ESP education in universities of Chinese medicine as well as the specific measures of its reform and practice.
