MaxEnt and GIS Modeling for Predicting the Potential Distribution of Bupleurum marginatum

摘要 目的:预测竹叶柴胡潜在适生区,对物种保护和资源合理利用提供参考。方法:基于竹叶柴胡134个空间分布点和16个生态因子数据,运用Max Ent模型和GIS空间分析技术构建竹叶柴胡的潜在分布,并量化其适宜生态因子阈值。结果:竹叶柴胡的高适生区面积占研究区总面积的12.99%,主要分布在鄂西北地区(陕西、河南、重庆和湖北的交界处)、陇南、滇中、两广北部和赣西;较适生区面积占研究区总面积的18.89%,主要分布在高适生区域周围;次适生区和不适生区分布面积分别占研究区总面积的30.97%和37.15%。最冷季平均气温、年降水量、气温年较差、生长期降水、平均气温日较差、最冷季降水量和等温性是影响竹叶柴胡分布的主要生态因子。因子权重与贡献率之间存在正相关关系。结论:本研究结果为竹叶柴胡的野生资源保护及其相关研究提供了技术手段和数据支持。 Objective:Analyzing potential geographic distribution of Bupleurum marginatum was important to species restoration and rational utilization of natural resources.Methods:The potential distribution of plant species under the occurrence conditions was simulated with MaxEnt and GIS software based on species occurrence data at 134 locations and 16 ecological variables.Meanwhile,the threshold was quantified.Results:It was showed that only 12.99% of the area came under high habitat suitability class followed by 18.89% in moderately suitable class,30.97% in low suitable class while major percentage(37.15%)of the study area showed the least potential.The high habitat suitability was appeared at the junction of Shaanxi,Henan,Chongqing and Hubei,Longnan City,central Yunnan,the north of Guangdong and Guangxi,and the west of Jiangxi.Jackknife test revealed that among the 16 environmental variables,mean temperature of the coldest quarter was the most significant contributor to the habitat suitability distribution of Bupleurum marginatum followed by annual precipitation,temperature annual range,precipitation of growth period,mean diurnal temperature range,precipitation of the coldest quarter and isothermality.Factors on weight of small samples were in line with contribution rate.Conclusion:The results can provide technical means and data support to Bupleurum marginatum's wild resource protection and study.
