摘要
"诗圣"和"诗史"是杜甫研究的两个核心概念,这两个概念从诞生之日起便对杜甫及其诗歌的研究产生了深远的影响。然而英语世界的学者对于"诗圣"和"诗史"的理解却与中国学者有很大出入。他们往往脱离了儒家文化精神的背景,而从纯文学的角度去理解这两个概念。这种出入体现了不同文化传统、审美习惯对于研究者认知的巨大影响。本文就英语世界学者的杜甫研究中对于这两个概念的理解与阐释进行分析,探讨了西方文化语境下的"诗圣"和"诗史"内涵,揭示了西方汉学对于杜甫阐释存在的错位与变异。
Shisheng and shishi are two key concepts which have played important roles in the study of Du Fu since they came into being. However, the understanding of these two terms are not unanimous. Scholars in the Anglophone World have different insights on them from Chinese scholars. Their studies tend to avoid the Confucian background, and they ,instead, fo- cus on a pure literary perspective of shisheng and shishi. The differences show the great influ- ence on the researchers＇ comprehension from the distinctive cultural traditions and aesthetic habits. This article analyzes the Anglophone World scholars＇ interpretations of shisheng and sh- ishi, discusses the connotations of these two concepts in the western cultural context and re- veals the variation and misunderstanding of Du Fu studies in the western Sinological circle.
