In 1993 Zhejiang Museum conducted excavations at Tianzigangon a tomb (M2) dating to the sixth year of the Taikang reign of the Western Jin and another (M3) dating to the Sun Wu Kingdom, which, however has no specific year documented. The forms and scales of the two tombs as well as their burial ob- jects suggest that they belonged to two aristocrats. The area around Tianzigang is where the Zhu family' s cemetery is located, and no available evidence shows it also houses tombs of other nobles from the Three Kingdom period through the Jin. According to the features of the burial objects, it is believed that M3 was buried around 240 CE. Based on the related historical documents, this article argues that the owners of M2 and M3 are Zhu Cai and Zhu Wan, father and son from the Zhu family.
