摘要
介绍了模具石墨的性能特点和切削加工机理,指出了复杂结构电火花石墨模具铣削加工中的困难,提出了CVD金刚石涂层刀具的解决方案。在此基础上介绍了国内外CVD金刚石涂层刀具在石墨模具高速铣削加工的工艺特点以及加工中CVD金刚石涂层刀具的磨损机制和破损失效形式,并列举了CVD金刚石涂层刀具在石墨模具高速铣削加工的应用,指出CVD金刚石涂层刀具高速铣削加工可解决石墨模具难以加工这一难题,若能进一步解决CVD金刚石涂层刀具的膜-基结合力和表面粗糙度问题,预期CVD金刚石涂层刀具高速铣削加工石墨模具可得以广泛推广应用。
The properties,characteristics and cutting mechanisms of graphite electrode materials were introduced.The machining problems of graphite molds with complicated structure were pointed out. Diamond coatings tools were suggested to solve these problems. On the bases of the above, the research development of high-speed milling rules and the tool wear mechanisms and damaged forms of diamond coated tools were introduced when high speeding milling graphite electrode materials, and some of the successful applications of high-speed milling of graphite electrode materials using diamond coated tools were exampled. It is pointed out that the problems of difficult cutting of graphite electrode materials can be solved by CVD diamond coatings tools,and it is further pointed out that if the adhesion of the diamond coatings to tungsten carbide base can be improved and the grain size of the diamond coatings can be decreased,then CVD diamond coating tools would be widely implied in the cutting of graphite electrode materials.
