摘要
中央大学农学院是中国近代农业学科最重要的发源地之一,在高级农业专门人才培养和利用现代科技改造传统农业方面作出了杰出贡献。本文对中央大学农学院的历史沿革、兼具国际视野的学院领袖、教学科研和推广一体的"三一制"、中国科学社的大本营、成立中国大学第一个生物系、创立农业科学学会和筹建中央农业实验所、参与筹备联合国粮农组织、走出29位院士等重要历史史实和文献,进行了系统整理和考证。
The college of agriculture in National Central University was one of the most important cradles of agriculture disciplines in China, and had great contribution on cultivating of senior agricultural specialized talents and using modern science and technology to transform traditional agriculture. This essay has a system- atically list and summarize the historical facts and documents of significant events, including to the history of the college of agriculture, to the successive Deans of the college of agriculture with international vision, to the three-one-system in teaching, scientific research and promotion of agriculture, to the base camp of the Science Society of China, to establishment the first department of biology in China, to founding the Institute of Agricul- tural Science and setting up the Central Research Institute of Agriculture, to involving in preparation for FAO, to 29 academicians graduated from the college of agriculture, and to other related historical documents, et al.
