摘要
本文采用文献计量学的可视化技术,考察了近十年发表在国外主要语言学期刊上与隐喻研究相关的论文,以呈现国外隐喻研究现状及发展趋势。结果表明,当前隐喻研究虽大都以概念隐喻理论为基础,但注重使用语料库方法和实验方法,探索了手势隐喻、多模态隐喻、情感隐喻、隐喻与身份建构等新话题,并立足于基于语域或体裁的定位,经历着社会转向和实证转向,形成了语言、思维和交际三个平面,正逐渐显示出认知神经科学、话语分析、话语动态及生态进化论四个发展路径。
Using the methods of visualization in bibliometrics, this paper reviews the articles related to metaphor studies published in leading international journals of linguistics in the past decade, with the aim of revealing the current status and development trends of metaphor studies. The results show that current metaphor studies, though still based on Conceptual Metaphor Theory, tend to adopt corpus and experiment methods, and explore new topics of metaphors in gestures, multi-modal metaphors, emotion metaphors and metaphor and identity construction. They are characterized by register/genre-based orientation, social and empirical turns, the three dimensions of language, thought and communication, and the four theoretical approaches of cognitive neuroscience, discourse analysis, discourse dynamics, and eco-evolution.
