Editor＇s note： ＂Cultural Practice Event for Undergraduates from Hong Kong and Macao＂ is a key brand project of cultural exchange for adolescents between the Mainland and Hong Kong and Macao under the initiative by the Ministry of Culture. Since its release in 2005, it has been successfully held for 10 sessions and attracted over 800 Hong Kong and Macao adolescents to participate. This year, over 90 college students are selected from 13 colleges and universities in Hong Kong and Macao to come to Beijing and are arranged to carry out a 5-week internship in 14 cultural institutions including the National Library; the National Museum, and the Palace Museum. Cultural lectures, visiting research and social gatherings have been held during their stay.
