The enzyme activities in hepatopancreas and intestine were compared in four culter species including 2+ and ≥ 3+ year-old Culler alburnus, C. mongolicus, C. dabryi and Cultrichthys erythropterus. The results showed that there were significantly higher protease and amylase activities in intestine than those in hepatopancreas in the four culter species (P 〈 0.05 ). The lipase activity was found to be higher in intestine than in hepatopancreas in three species Culler a!burnus, C. mongolicus, C. dabryi, expect for Cultrichthys mongolicus in which there were higher protease and amylase activities in hepatopancreas than those in intestine. The 2+ and ≥ 3+ year-old C. mongolicus had significantly higher protease activity in hepatopancreas, followed by C. alburnus and C. dabryi (P 〈 0.05 ). There were higher lipase activity in intestine and amylase activity in hepatopancreas in C. alburnus than in other species in both age classes, while there was higher lipase activity in hepatopancreas in ≥3+ year-old C. mongolicus and C. alburnus than in the two other species (P 〈 0.05 ). The findings provide reference for the related fish conservation and sustainable utilization.
