摘要
大学英语公选课口语配对教学实验表明,学习口语时与熟人配对和与陌生人配对对口语学习效果影响不同。与熟人配对在时间较短时对口语整体学习效率的助益大于与陌生人配对。与陌生人配对无论时间长短都在以下方面表现更优:语言准确性的保持,较快速口语的输出,内容充实性和互动积极性。与熟人配对和与陌生人配对在时间较长时对口语整体学习效率的影响效果相似。熟悉度对语言复杂性无影响。教师应根据口语训练侧重点和配对时间具体选择熟人配对还是陌生人配对。
The experiment carried out on pair work in oral English learning for college English teaching shows that the learning effects in pair work for oral English learning are quite different when learners are working with acquaintances and strangers. The effect of pairing with acquaintances is greater obvious for oral English improvement than pairing with strangers in the short run. While the effect of pairing with strangers is much better whether in the long or short run from the following aspects: the retention of language accuracy, the quick output of spoken language, the enrichment of the content and the interactive motivation. Pairing with acquaintances and with strangers have similar effects on the overall learning efficiency for spoken language in longer periods of time. In this sense, language teachers should make learners select pairing with acquaintance or strangers according to the focus or time span in oral English training for the fact that familiarity has no effect on language complexity.
